This offers an edition and study of a peculiar manuscript version of a moralistic Sephardic song (which we have entitled "The bad habits") by Ḥayim Yom-Tob Magula, originally published in Smyrna in 1739.The song is included in the MS "Źijrón Yerušalem" (Oriente ca. 1760), which was discovered in Alexandria and contains, among others, the work in Hebrew Źijrón Yerušalem on the tombs of the just who are interred in Israel, attributed to David Conforti, the author of the "Coré haḍorot" (Venecia 1740)
