  Luego de discurrir sobre los conceptos realidad natural y realidad artificial –en relación con el tiempo gramatical y el natural– y de mostrar ejemplos de usos secundarios de las formas personales de los modos indicativo y potencial, se hace una revisión sucinta de la teoría de la temporalidad lingüística de Guillermo Rojo con el fin de señalar que su sistema de la conjugación verbal española, formulado con vectores, presenta una cierta rigidez y arbitrariedad, por cuanto se encuentran excepciones a la regla que alteran el valor temporal primario definido.

  After discoursing on the concepts natural reality and artificial reality – with respect to the grammatical and natural tenses – and showing examples of secondary uses of the personal forms of the indicative and potential moods, this article briefly reviews the theory of linguistic temporality of Guillermo Rojo. As a result, it is pointed out that this author’s system for conjugating Spanish verbs, formulated with vectors, involves a certain rigidity and arbitrariness, because there are various exceptions to the rule that affect the defined primary temporal value.
