    El artículo cuestiona las aproximaciones contemporáneas al fenómeno de la Geoweb posicionándola en el contexto histórico de los diferentes media, especialmente, a través del vídeo y la televisión. El análisis sincrónico y diacrónico de diferentes documentos destaca la precariedad de las representaciones actuales del territorio global en el entorno hipermedia, resaltando cómo la capacidad de las tecnologías digitales para representar el espacio físico y social global no se corresponde con la capacidad global de acceder a y participar en dichas representaciones.

    The article questions the contemporary approximations to the phenomenon of the Geoweb positioning in the historical context of different media, specially, across the video and the television. The synchronous and diachronous analysis of different documents stands out the precariousness of the current representations of the global territory in the hypermedia environment, highlighting how the capacity of the digital technologies to represent the physical and social global space does not correspond with the global capacity to access and to participate in the above mentioned representations.
