La videocreación en los centros educativos: una oportunidad para valorar y respetar la pluralidad

    Este trabajo analiza la videocreación como un medio para reconocer, valorar y respetar la pluralidad en las aulas. En primer lugar, se justifi ca la importancia de la pluralidad en los centros educativos mediante una exposición de las referencias más importantes que aparecen en la normativa española sobre educación. En segundo lugar, se describen tanto las posibilidades como las limitaciones de la videocreación en los contextos educativos. Finalmente, se realiza una refl exión crítica sobre la función que ha tenido el videoarte a la hora de debatir, denunciar y revelar diferentes realidades sociales, culturales y políticas; destacando el signifi cado y las aportaciones de la Bienal Whitney.

    This work analyzes the videocreation as a way to recognize, to value and to respect the plurality in the classrooms. First place, the importance of the plurality justifi es itself in the educational centers by means of an exhibition of the most important references that appear in the spanish regulation about education. Second place, there are described both the possibilities and the limitations of the videocreation in the educational contexts. Finally, a critical refl ection is realized on the function that the videoart has had at the moment of debating, denouncing and to reveal different social, cultural and political realities; emphasizing the meaning and the contributions of the Withney Biennial Show.
