    En este trabajo presentamos los dibujos de cinco ilustradores, realizados para sendos Quijotes infantiles y juveniles en Serbia. Repasamos las adaptaciones de la novela publicadas en 1931, 1942, 1958, 1967 y 2008, fijándonos principalmente en el material gráfico que las acompaña. Mediante el análisis de estas aportaciones intentamos averiguar si en la selección de los episodios y en la aproximación al texto cervantino se reflejan, y en qué medida, el ambiente socio-cultural y la época de su creación, así como la personalidad de cada artista.

    In this paper, we present the drawings of five illustrators made for various Quixotes for children and teenagers in Serbia. We examine the adaptations of the novel published in 1931, 1942, 1958, 1967, and 2008, focusing mainly on the graphic material that accompanies them. Through the analysis of these contributions, we intend to figure out if the selection of the episodes and the approach to Cervantes’ text are reflections, and to what grade, of the socio-cultural milieu and the period of its creation, as well as of the personality of each artist.
