Resumen de Criterios de diferenciación de segmentos de predisposición tecnológica en el ámbito hospitalario público

  Investigaciones previas confirman que la estructura de segmentos identificada por Parasuraman y Colby (2001),en cuanto a grado de predisposición tecnológica se refiere, se mantiene en elámbito hospitalario del Servicio Andaluz de Salud. En este artículo se identifican, de manera exploratoria, las variables de caracterización de la muestra que ayudan enmayor medida a predecir la pertenencia a los distintos segmentos. A partir de un análisis de segmentación jerárquica, se comprueba que los conocimientos informáticos, categoría profesional, número de miembros del agregado familiar y el sexo, marcan diferencias en la caracterización de los segmentos desde el punto de vista socio-laboral.

  Previous research confirms that the structure of segments as identified by Parasuraman and Colby (2001), as far as the extent of technology readiness is concerned, is still present within the field of hospital activity of the Andalusian Health Service. In this paper we present an exploratory analysis about which characterization variables of the sample are the best in order to forecast in which segment the individual belongs, there by making the segment much more identifiable. By means of a hierarchical segmentation analysis, we can ascertain that computer knowledge, professional status, number of family members and gender establish the difference when characterizing segments from a social and labour point of view.
