    Se destaca la importancia del capital humano como base del crecimiento económico. Se valora el papel de la educación en la formación del capital humano y se incorpora la variable de la tecnología por el papel decisivo que juega en el proceso educativo y por sus propias bondades en el desarrollo.

    Building upon the basic structure of the endogenous models, this article highlights the importance of human capital, learning-by-doing, and other positive external factors that sustain economic growth. To the extent that education is the main component of human capital, a special emphasis is given to education, singling out the ways it contributes to development and reinforces the positive role of the state, not only in overcoming market failure, but also in shaping the formation of an economy’s human capital stock. Furthermore, this article makes the connection between specific forms of human capital accumulation; particularly R&D scientists, technological progress, and the level of development.
