El patrimonio histórico militar en la difusión de la cultura de seguridad y defensa

    La hipótesis principal que se plantea en el presente trabajo, es el empleo del rico patrimonio histórico-artístico que conserva el Ministerio de Defensa español, en el incremento de la conciencia de defensa que posee en estos momentos la sociedad española. Se trataría de poner en valor el patrimonio conservado en museos militares y edificios singulares, siguiendo las últimas tendencias de la museología actual. Sobre todo aprovechando la importancia que hoy se le da a dos funciones claves en el museo: la información y la educación. La exposición de los fondos se plantea con la adecuada intención de comunicación y una didáctica, sobre todo aplicada a los niños que no solo entretenga, sino que incite a la reflexión.

    The main hypothesis raised on this paper is the use of the rich Historical and Artistic Heritage preserved by the Spanish Ministry of Defense and how in the Spanish society there is an increasing of the Defense Consciousness.

    The purpose will be to showcase the heritage preserved in the Military Museums and in the unique buildings by following the latest trends in current museology. Especially it would be done by taking advantage of the importance that today is given to the two key functions in the museum:

    information and education. The exhibition of the collections will be showed with the proper intention of communication and teaching, it will be applied above all to children not only for entertainment, but to stimulate thinking.
