Escala de satisfação com a experiência acadêmica de estudantes do ensino superior

    The present study has had as its objective to analyze the psychometric parameters of the Escala de Satisfação com a Experiência Acadêmica (ESEA). [Scale of Satisfaction with Academic Experience]. The initial items were based on literature on the theme; an initial version of the instrument being applied both on a pilot study with higher education students in order to verify their linguistic adequacy and to the analysis of content by specialists]. After that, the final version of the instrument was applied on a sample of 351 students of a private higher education institution in a Sao Paulo State inland town. Consisting of 35 items, the scale obtained, presents results of satisfactory validity and fidelity. Through an exploratory factorial analysis, three dimensions were found, i.e., satisfaction with the course, with opportunity and development and satisfaction with the institution, explaining 47,7% of the total variance of the scale. The data of this study can be useful to institutions of direct actions with the student and on the validation of institutional efficacy in educational contexts.

    O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar os parâmetros psicométricos da Escala de Satisfação com a Experiência Acadêmica (ESEA). Os itens iniciais foram baseados na literatura sobre o tema, aplicou-se a versão inicial do instrumento em um estudo piloto com estudantes de ensino superior para verificar sua adequação lingüistica e ainda a análise de conteúdo por especialistas. Em seguida, a versão final do instrumento foi aplicada em uma amostra de 351 estudantes de uma instituição de ensino superior particular do interior paulista. A escala obtida, constituída por 35 itens, apresenta resultados de validade e fidelidade satisfatórios. Valendo-se da análise fatorial exploratória foram encontradas três dimensões, a saber, satisfação com o curso, oportunidade e desenvolvimento e satisfação com a instituição, explicando 47,7% da variância total da escala. Os dados deste estudo podem ser úteis às instituições nas ações diretas com o estudante e na avaliação da eficácia institucional em contextos educativos.
