  • The compromises inherent in an interdepartmental Environmental Science major have led us to develop a novel one-semester junior-level course covering thermodynamics and the fundamental concepts of calculus. Extensive use of computer-based modeling is key to the success of this approach. Special laboratory experiments complement the course material.
