  • The commentary supports the idea that all students should be required to take science courses to be a knowledgeable, contributing citizen to society. Physical chemistry, in particular, would be helpful because it lays the foundation for understanding why we will dangerously warm the planet if we add too many greenhouse gases to the atmosphere.
