  • This investigation focuses in the analysis of recreation areas and activities of Chuquisaca's Society during the years of the Liberal Period, 1880-1930. The places were not only public spaces, they were part of the mentality and imaginary of the society, therefore the research has its bases on documents, newspapers and advertisements dated on our temporal period of study; these documents provided us information about squares, parks, clubs, theaters and hotels, which helps us to study a period in Sucre´s history that has been studied little until now.
