  • The aim of the present small-scale study is to contribute investigating SFL (Spanish Foreign Language) learner use of a high frequency Spanish's connectors porque/eftersom, por eso/därfor, följaktligen and entonces/då to describe some variations in the use of words in interaction with these major representative connectors in written discourse, more exactly in a corpus compiled by 16 texts produced of 8 Swedish university learner of SFL. The main questions addressed were to identify do learners used different words combination with these connectors in relation to how Spanish and Swedish-speaking uses it compared with gone away examples of the corpus CREA and GP04. Next it was tried to analyze the possible variations in the use of the words in interaction with these connector in relation to the results of the applied survey.
