This article presents the flexural behavior of a steel "I" when applied a thin layer of carbon fiber as a low modulus reinforcement. According to the results, it had a linear load in the range of 0 to 1250kg, which implies that the material worked in the elastic range. The modified carbon fiber Young's modulus of steel and coated profile makes 10% becomes more flexible.
