Resumen
For several years, the company has been trying to keep functional garbage compactors rented to local companies that generate waste in high volume due to the nature of your business.
These companies generally fall into the category of the Maquila Industry, whether electronic parts, metal-mechanical, automotive, electrical, equipment manufacturing, among others, and require garbage collection services in the range of 30 m3 per week .
The garbage compactors must remain functional 24 hours a day including weekends and this degree of demand did not allow other maintenance rather than Corrective creating a series of situations involving non-service stoppages, non-scheduled demand for parts, emergency decision- making to support customer service, among others.
The Analysis and Implementation of Maintenance Plan resolved all these situations up to 95% making use of various kinds of administrative tools like 5S, 8D, Pareto and Ishikawa Diagram, combined with training, tools & very consistent follow-up.
Much of the success that was obtained during the development of this project was due to the involvement of the Operation Management, the attitude of the technicians and the availability of Maquila companies to welcome and allow us to carry out our Maintenance Plan.
