  • Resumen
    • Academic bodies (CCAA) in Mexico have growth opportunities by supporting the Faculty Improvement Program (PROMEP). To access it, the CCAA are evaluated based on the rules of operation that the same program identifies and makes available to the general public through their official website. This document, its issuance in 2012, was formed of 90 pages, in addition, the requirements to be met by the Acade mic (CA) to achieve a certain level be are scattered and are not perfectly explicit, making it difficult to identify exactly CA what to do to aspire to a level. On the other hand, within universities is usual throughout the years there CCAA that are not operating as they should, due to the different tasks that its members have, and lose sight of the guidelines to be followed. Because this pair of problems, at the Polytechnic University of Aguascalientes, within its research committee, raised the resolution through an assessment tool that quickly and clearly establish the status in which there is a CA and the elements you must follow to keep or raise your level. This work shows including the first results of its application in all CCAA (seven) that existed in 2012.
