  • This paper presents the arguments in the creation and follow up of academic bodies, based on the experience of the Academic of Business Studies in Tourism (CAEET), attached to the University of Technology in the Riviera Maya, whose work training begins in the year 2008; although experience is developed in an institutional framework, focuses primarily on the characteristics of the formation and development of the research activity and management.

    It also discusses the achievements and difficulties faced by the CAEET in its integration and development, resource management and the choice of topics to date.Generate this analysis will serve as a foundation for the creation of new academic bodies in the Educational Institution (EI), being the first CA recognized by PROMEP inside the UTRM, and thereby contribute to improved processes derived from the experience provides research, as part of the integration of this substantive role within the University.
