  • The sixth editor of the Journal of Chemical Education passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. His contributions to chemistry and chemistry education are far too many to delineate in a single article. This is a personal remembrance that I hope will give readers a taste of Joe's professional accomplishments, personality, and dedication to our discipline.
