  • Resumen
    • In modern Italian lexicography we can notice the increasing attention devoted to the problems of word formation due to the conversion of some linguists (general and historical) to lexicography. This attention is manifested in particular in the lemmatisation of affixes and confixes ("combining forms"), first of all by De Mauro's Gradit 1999-2000 (7 voll.). Even though there is a lack in the treatment of the single entries in terms of "Word formation rules" and "Word analysis rules", a sort of analysis of the word formation indirectly appears where the dictionaries give the synchronic etymon. Nevertheless neologisms are systematically analysed only by few dictionaries (Gradit, Disc, Treccani, Devoto-Oli-Srianni-Trifone).
