The author offers opinions on management, particularly management of teams in the workplace. It is stated that if-then planning in which goals are expressed in terms of contingencies requiring specific actions by employees results in more effective performance by teams and organizations, which is attributed to the psychological ability of humans to process information in if-then terms.
