  • Resumen
    • Service-learning has the potential to change student attitudes toward a course and a subject. With this goal in mind, I have used service-learning in several courses, from introductory mathematics courses to courses for math majors, for several semesters. This article gives details on these projects as well as some ideas to extend these projects to other situations. Furthermore, some dos and don'ts for service-learning are discussed.
