Resumen de Aplicaciones terminológicas en entorno Tiki Wiki: muestreo de terminología científica extraída del proyecto Humanterm

  Como formadores en traducción, terminología y tecnologías aplicadas debíamos encontrar una herramienta que nos permitiese congregar en la nube a estudiantes o becarios de traducción, traductores profesionales y expertos de distintos ámbitos con fines colaborativos y pedagógicos. Con el proyecto terminográfico Humanterm en entorno Tiki Wiki hemos dado un primer paso hacia el cumplimiento de ese doble objetivo y el afianzamiento de una plataforma útil, fiable e intuitiva, cuyos contenidos podrán adaptarse a las necesidades de cualquier colectivo o usuario de las industrias de la lengua y comunicación plurilingüe. Así pues, esta plataforma con claro enfoque humanitario abarca también subdominios relacionados como el biosanitario e incluye combinaciones lingüísticas como español-francés o francés-español.

  In our role as trainers in translation, terminology and applied technology we sought a cloud-based tool that could bring together the varied interests of translation students, professional translators and experts from different areas. This tool needed to be used both for collaboration and for teaching purposes. With the Humanterm terminology project based on a Tiki Wiki platform, we have taken the first step toward meeting both objectives while creating a useful, reliable and intuitive platform whose content can be adapted to the needs of any user or group in the language and multilingual communication industries. This platform, which has a clear humanitarian focus, also includes related subdomains like healthcare and language pairs such as Spanish-French and French-Spanish.
