Despite the fact that they didnt promote the 2011 anti-authori-tarian revolts, the islamists parties have capitalized its years of oppo-sition and its image of good morality. They have adapted its discourses and strategies to the new context and have managed to win the elections. Legitimated by the electoral results the islamists movements have faced the test of assuming executive responsibilities in a context of economical difficulties, social uncertainties and growing ideological polarization.
