Resumen de Historia social del desarrollo turístico en Ibiza (décadas de 1960 y 1970). Análisis desde perspectivas historiográficas.

  Ibiza es una isla con una gran dependencia económica del turismo. Aunque el sector turístico apareció en la isla en el primer tercio del siglo XX, la Guerra Civil Española y la Segunda Guerra Mundial causó un paréntesis de más de una década. Pero el turismo renació con mayor fuerza por la gran implicación de los residentes en el nuevo sector y los cambios en los países europeos. Las vacaciones pagadas y los paquetes turísticos organizados por turoperadores crearon el turismo de masas. Las mejoras en infraestructuras (transporte marítimo, aeropuerto, etc.) hicieron que Ibiza viviera un boom turístico con enormes datos de crecimiento en los años sesenta y setenta. En este trabajo se pretende describir esta época y mostrar que la implicación de los residentes es fundamental.

  Ibiza is an island with a great economic dependence on tourism. Although the tourism industry on the island appeared in the first third of the twentieth century, the Spanish Civil War and Second World War caused a hiatus of more than a decade. But tourism reborn more strongly by the great involvement of the residents in the new sector and changes in European countries. Holidays and package tours organized by tour operators created mass tourism. Improvements in infrastructure (maritime, airport, etc.) made Ibiza lived a tourist boom with strong data growth in the sixties and seventies. This paper aims to describe this time and show that the involvement of residents is essential.
