    Dos actuaciones de la monarquía española son significativas del talante de actuación internacional y nacional de Fernando el Católico y de Carlos I. Nos referimos a la presencia española en los concilios de Pisa y de Letrán y la reacción ante la sublevación de la revuelta de las Comunidades. Ambas van a señalar el camino que la monarquía española pretendió marcar para la conquista del reino de Navarra y la pacificación de los vencidos agramonteses.

    Two actions of the spanish monarchy are significant to know the international and national actions of Fernando el Católico and Carlos I. We refer to the spanish presence in the councils of Pisa and Letrán and the reaction to the rebellion of the communities. Both of them mark the way the spanish monarchy tried to set to the conquest of the kingdom of Navarre and the pacification of the defeated Agramonteses.
