Opiniones del alumnado de Bachillerato y Formación Profesional de Asturias con relación al derecho a la educación

    El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo conocer las opiniones del alumnado de Bachillerato y Formación Profesional con relación al derecho a la educación, respecto a la importancia y al cumplimiento de determinados elementos del mismo. Hemos elaborado un cuestionario que fue cumplimentado por 756 alumnos y alumnas de la Comunidad Autónoma de Asturias. En el estudio observamos que la mitad del alumnado considera que la educación que recibe es buena y que los elementos más importantes del derecho a la educación son la gratuidad y la obligatoriedad de la enseñanza básica, siendo éstos también los que mejor se cumplen, según su criterio, en la práctica.

    This paper aims to know the opinions of baccalaureate and vocational training students as regards the right to education and the importance and achievement of relevant aspects of it. A questionnaire was answered by 756 students of the Principality of Asturias. The results of the study show that half of the students think that the education they receive is good; 86.1% understand that the possibility of choosing school by families is fundamental. The most important aspects of the right to education are that basic teaching should be free and compulsory; according to the survey, these two objectives and broadly met. These and other results are discussed further together in the paper.
