    This article is regard to the some envolved institutions in a project named :Laboratory of lmages: signiftcatiODS of teacbing 1n the formation of the teachers involving a landing-net of searchers of the Rio Grande do Sul and, of the others regions of the country that has been working with the thematics of the teaching imaginary, of the teacher's !ife stories (in the oral and autobiographic Writings modalities) and of the teaching memory. The research is regard to differentiated times and spaces, involving teachers that work, principa1ly in the end of the nineteen century and in the different decades of the twenty century, producing comparatives studies through of the oral, writing and photographic images about the categories !ike "formation's process", "genus", "professional choices" and ''teaching culture". The referential of the memory is the theoretica1 substratum where our research is conso!idated - the work memory. Work that reconstruct images of the pass it'd iluminated by the experiences of the present, trying to !ive this time through of a reiation that can be creative and transformer, based on the reflection the teachers's !ife trajectories.

    Este artigo tem como referência o projeto interinstitucional intitulado "Laboratório de Imagens:

    significações da docência na formação de professores envolvendo uma rede de pesquisadores do Rio Grande do Sul e, de outras regiões do país que vêm trabalhando com as temáticas do imaginário docente, das histórias de vida de professores (nas modalidades oral e escrita autobiográfica) e da memória docente. A pesquisa tem como referência tempos e espaços diferenciados, envolvendo professores que trabalharam, principalmente no final do século XIX e nas diferentes décadas do século XX, produzindo assim estudos comparativos através das imagens orais, escritas e fotográficas sobre categorias como ''processos de formação", "gênero", "escoiba profissional" e "cultura docente". O referencial da memória é o substrato teórico onde nossa pesquisa se alicerça - a memória trabalho. Trabalho este que reconstrói imagens do passado à luz das experiências do presente, tentando viver este tempo através de uma relação que pode ser criativa e transformadora, a partir da reflexão das trajetórias de vida dos professores.
