Resumen de DESCOBRINDO ESTUDANTES TALENTOSOS E SUPERDOTADOS NO ENSINO SUPERIOR BRASILEIRO ANALISANDO EFEITOS DOS HÁBITOS DE ESTUDO SOBRE O RENDIMENTO ACADÊMICO

  Dedicação à tarefa, criatividade, bom rendimento acadêmico, autoconceito positivo são alguns dos indicadores de conduta característicos de estudantes superdotados e talentosos. No contexto acadêmico brasileiro, são poucas as investigações associadas aos hábitos de estudos de estudantes do ensino superior associados à superdotação. Este artigo objetiva divulgar resultado da pesquisa realizada ao abrigo do processo 401.468/2009-7/CNPq. O trabalho tomou em consideração uma amostra de n=1.357 estudantes de graduação que responderam ao QAAHE (Hernández-Pina, 1994/ Adaptado por Mascarenhas, 2006) com 62 itens e a QEAP44 (Barca & Porto, 2007/Adaptada por Mascarenhas, 2008) com 44 itens, organizados em escala Likert de 5 pontos. Os resultados revelam efeitos dos hábitos de estudos sobre o rendimento acadêmico no ensino superior, demonstrando a ocorrência de estudantes com características de superdotados e talentosos na área intelectual e acadêmica. Aporta instrumentos de avaliação psicopedagógica para o ensino superior sinalizando para a pertinência da continuidade das investigações neste domínio. Concluiu-se que um entendimento aprofundado da temática exige a realização de mais investigação. Constatou-se a escassez de estudos sobre a relação entre os hábitos de estudos e características do subredotado em contexto do ensino superior.

  Dedication to tasks, creativity, good academic performance, positive autoconcept are some of the indicators that characterize the behavior of overgifted and talented students. In the Brazilian academic context, there are few investigations associated to studying habits of overgifted students in higher education. This article aims to show the result of the research done according to the process 401.468/2009 � 7/CNPq. The work considered a sample of n = 1.357 students in higher education who answered the QAAHE (Hernández � Pina, 1944/Adapted by Mascarenhas, 2006) with 62 items and the QEAP44 (Barca & Porto, 2007/Adapted by Mascarenhas, 2008) with 44 items, organized in scale Likert of 5 points. The results show the effects of the studying habits on the academic performance in higher education, describing the occurrence of overgifted and talented students in intellectual and academic area. This work is done through psychopedagogical evaluation for higher education signalizing to the relevance of the continuity of investigations on this field. We conclude that it�s necessary to deepen the understanding of the theme by continuing the research. There is scarcity of studies on the relation between the studying habits and the characteristics of overgifted students in higher education context.
