En este ensayo las autoras reflexionan sobre las relaciones existentes entre género, educación e interculturalidad. Definen los ámbitos o problemas relacionados con las estrategias de cambio que las madres y chicas de origen inmigrante y en situaciones de minoría están adoptando para definir y llevar a cabo su propio proyecto migratorio. Esto en un contexto en el cual su triple condición subalterna hace más difícil concretar sus objetivos de emancipación por medio de un contacto prolongado con el sistema educativo de la sociedad mayoritaria.

In this essay the authors reflect on the relationships that exist between gender, education and interculturality. They define the environments or problems that are associated with the change strategies that immigrant-origin mothers and girls, who belong to minorities are adopting in order to carry out their own migratory project; all this in a context in which their threefold subordinate condition hinders their emancipation goals through a prolonged contact with the educational system and with the majoritarian society.
