    El artículo aborda las potencialidades y ventajas del podcast como herramienta susceptible de ser incorporada al servicio de la docencia universitaria. En primer lugar, se recogen los beneficios aportados por investigaciones previas en este sentido. En segundo término, la investigación se completa con el estudio de los hábitos de consumo tecnológicos de estudiantes de la titulación de Comunicación Audiovisual para conocer su grado de disposición hacia el empleo de la nueva herramienta con finalidad educativa.

    The article tackles the potentialities and advantages of the podcast like tool to incorporate to the service of the university teaching. In the first place, they collect the profits contributed by previous investigations in this sense. In second term, the investigation continues with the study of the habits of technological consumption of students of the degree of Audiovisual Communication to know his degree of disposal to the employment of the new tool with educational purpose.
