    Se presenta una experiencia formativa llevada a cabo en tres aciones de formación continua de profesores sobre Educación para la Ciudadanía y para los Derechos Humanos. Esta experiencia tuvo lugar dentro del contexto más general de un proyecto sobre el mismo tema que se se realiza desde 2002 de la Scola Superior de Educaçá del Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra rtugal), la Universidad de Granada (España) y el Consejo de Europa. Se busca una enseñanza y formación del profesorado de calidad y excelencia. Se utiliza metodología de educación no formal.

    «An experience of In-Service Teacher Training in «Human Rights and Citizenship Education».

    In our text, we present an experience of In-Service Teacher Training corresponding to three courses on Human Rights and Citizenship Education. The experience took place within the larger context of a Project on Human Rights and Citizenship Education which is being carried out since 2002 at the Escola Superior de Educação (College of Education) of the Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra (Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, Portugal). It involves also the University of Granada (Spain) as well as the Council of Europe (in particular, its European Youth Centre Budapest). In this Project, In-Service Teacher Training plays a very important role, since this component is seen as particularly relevant for a quality and excellence teaching. The use of Non-Formal Education methodologies is a distinctive character of this Project and of this experience.
