El lenguaje en primer plano en la literatura infantil para la enseñanza y el aprendizaje inicial del lenguaje escrito

    El presente estudio analiza las escrituras de un grupo de niños de tercer curso de Educación Primaria producidas como respuesta a la lectura y análisis de un libro cuyos recursos gráficos, tipográficos y discursivos ponen el lenguaje en primer plano. El libro leído en voz alta por la profesora fue "La auténtica historia de los tres cerditos" (de Jon Scieszka, ilustrado por Lane Smith). Las producciones de los niños y el texto fuente se analizaron atendiendo tanto a los recursos gráficos y tipográficos como a los mecanismos lingüísticos (de foregrounding) para poner el lenguaje en primer plano y para capturar la atención del lector. Los resultados mostraron que estos recursos del texto fuente se volvieron formas 'visibles' para los niños y sirvieron de modelo para producir textos semejantes

    This study analyses the written productions of a group of children in the third year of Primary Education in response to the reading and analysis of a book with graphic, typographic and discursive resources that foreground language. The book read aloud by the teacher was "The True Story of the Three Little Pigs" (by Jon Scieszka, with illustrations by Lane Smith). The children's productions and the source text were analysed with reference both to the graphic and typographic resources and to the linguistic mechanisms used to foreground the language and to catch the reader's attention. The results showed that these textual resources became 'visible' forms for the children and served as a model to produce similar texts.
