    El artículo que presentamos recoge una investigación que se orienta metodológicamente hacia los denominados estudios de caso. Pretendemos generar un acercamiento entre la escuela y los museos mediante la creación artística y el análisis de sus protagonistas. Nos introducimos en una temática de corte social que afecta tanto al mundo de las mujeres y su desarrollo profesional como al entorno educativo en el que se mueven. Nuestro estudio se ha llevado a cabo en la ciudad de Santiago de Chile. Hemos accedido a las opiniones de un grupo de maestras chilenas. Se trata de mujeres que nos transmiten sus experiencias, sus deseos, sus necesidades, y todo aquello en lo que ellas consideraban necesario incidir. Se ha llevado a cabo un proyecto artístico en el que se interpretan mediante dibujos y videos dichos anhelos y vivencias. Gracias a sus relatos hemos conocido las dificultades del ofi cio de enseñar en Chile, así como la urgencia social que imprimen a sus tareas educativas las propias maestras.

    This paper presents the results of an investigation into a number of case studies. The aim is to bring together schools and museums through the artistic creation and analysis of the participants. The topic under consideration is one of huge social importance that affects both the professional development of female teachers and the educational environment in which they work. Our study, which was undertaken in the city of Santiago de Chile, includes the opinions of a group of Chilean female teachers. They have recounted their experiences, desires, needs and any other issues they considered relevant. An artistic project has been developed in which all those desires and experiences are portrayed though drawings and videos. Thanks to their accounts we have come to appreciate not only the difficulties they face as teachers in Chile, but also the social urgency they feel their profession fills.
