Resumen de ¿Qué hizo de la Tierra planeta habitable?

En los últimos años se han aportado algunos datos sobre la génesis planetaria que han cambiado nuestro modo de entender las condiciones en que se formó la Tierra y los procesos que le proporcionaron la configuración que debió tener al cabo de unos cientos de millones de años de existencia. Es, por otra parte, una cuestión cuyo tratamiento exige un enfoque sistémico y que concita especial interés porque define el escenario en que apareció la vida. Por todo ello debería prestársele mayor atención en la enseñanza. En este trabajo se sintetiza el estado del conocimiento acerca del origen de la Tierra y se ofrecen algunas ideas para su tratamiento en el aula.

Scientists have provided new data concerning the planetary genesis Over the last years. These new insights have altered our understanding of the conditions in which the Earth was created as well as the understanding of the processes that led to what we believe was its configuration after a few hundreds of millions of years of existence.
This is a question that requires a systemic approach and that has gathered a particular interest since it defines the scenario in which life appeared. For these very reasons this topic should be given a greater attention in education. In this work we synthesize the state of knowledge regarding the origin of the Earth and we propose few ideas about how to apply this topic in classrooms.
