Resumen de La Investigación Social en América Latina
The present work tries to synthesize the epistemological aspects of the discussions that were made at the Commission of Social Research (ALAS 1999) from the perspective of a participant observer. To achieve this objective, I proceed in the following way: a) I describe the thematic approach in the papers, b) I synthesize the central arguments so that they can be considered as meta-theoretical articulations of the mentioned discussions and, c) I create an agenda for the potential connections between epistemology and the social research, that emerge of the context of the mentioned meta-theoretical articulations.
