    ¿Fue débil el sistema educativo español en su misión de nacionalización? A esta cuestión se responde desde la otra mirada de una cultura receptora de esta acción política y educativa. Un modo diferente de observar la construcción política y educativa del Estado-nación nacido de las Cortes de Cádiz y de sus precedentes en la Ilustración. También son examinadas las consecuencias que esta herencia conlleva para la educación en la España democrática surgida de la Constitución de 1978. Frente a este modelo hay una educación que impulsa otra manera distinta de entender España.

    Was the Spanish Educational System in its mission of nationalization weak? We answer this question from the vision of the «other», of a culture that received this political and educational action. It is a different way of observing the political and educational construction of the Nation-State that was born in the Cádiz Constituent Assembly, as well as its precedents in the Enlightment. Also we examined the consequences that this inheritance bears for the education in the democratic Spain emerged from the 1978 Constitution. Opposite to this model, there is an education that impulse different way of understanding Spain.
