    En el último tercio del siglo XVIII, se tradujeron al español tres tratados de silvicultura del botánico francés, H.L. Duhamel du de Monceau. Esta traducción constituye la única obra completa en español sobre esta disciplina científica editada en España colmando de este modo un hueco en la literatura científica española del XVIII. Es asimismo relevante porque el traductor traza en su prólogo el esbozo del método seguido para superar las dificultades traductológicas y llevar a cabo su traducción.

    In the last third of XVIII Century, were translated into Spanish three treaties of forestry by the French botanist H.L. Duhamel du Monceau. This translation constitutes the only complete work in Spanish on this scientific discipline published in Spain, filling in this way a gap in Spanish scientific Literature. It is also important because the translator draws up in his prologue the outline of the followed method to surpass the difficulties related to translations aspects, and to carry out his translation.

    Dans le dernier tiers du XVIIIe siècle, trois traités de sylviculture du botaniste français, H.L. Duhamel du Monceau, furent traduits à l�espagnol. Cette traduction s�avère la seule oeuvre complète, en espagnol, éditée en Espagne sur cette discipline scientifique. De ce fait, elle comble un vide qui existait dans la littérature scientifique espagnole du XVIII. Elle est également importante car le traducteur ébauche dans son prologue la méthode employée pour résoudre les difficultés traductologiques et mener à terme sa traduction.
