Resumen de Diferentes aproximaciones al concepto de equivalencia en traducción y su aplicación en la práctica profesional
Throughout the history of Translation Studies, the concept of �equivalence� has played a very important role. After having reviewed Nida´s theory, experts have come to the conclusion that a distinction must be made between the concepts of �equivalence� and �adequacy�. The question to be posed is whether it is possible to find a total equivalence between two texts belonging to two absolutely different cultures.
