En el presente trabajo se analizan las principales diferencias entre la banca ética y el resto de entidades financieras (bancos, cajas de ahorro y cooperativas de crédito). Para ello ha sido necesario definir las características más importantes de la banca ética; máxima participación social, gestión eficaz y profesional, transparencia como valor fundamental, existencia de un código ético, colocación del activo en proyectos con valor añadido social y con carácter global. Además, y con objeto de facilitar un contraste intragrupos claro se realiza la propuesta de un índice, denominado Radical Affinity Index, el cual se centra fundamentalmente en la responsabilidad de implicar a los depositantes en la decisión sobre la utilización final de los fondos
This research analyses the principal differences between ethical banking and the rest of funding organization (banks, saving entities, credit cooperatives). With this object, we have defined previously the essential characteristics of the ethical banking; maximum social participation, efficient and professional management, the transparency as fundamental value, the existence of an ethical code, the inversion of the asset in projects with an adding social value and with global measure. Furthermore, and with the aim of providing an enlightening contrast among funding organizations, we propose an index that we designate Radical Affinity Index, which is focused essentially in the responsibility of implicate lenders in the decision about the final use of the funds
