  • This study analyses the competence in the field of leadership and management of high-level managers in Public Administration, and their influence on the performance of organisations. Knowledge of this influence on specific attributes as well as abilities and performance of Portuguese administrative organisations is also an aim of this analysis. The target population of the present study is made up of all high level managers working for direct administration of the State.
