In this article, the linguistic-discursive operations of augmentation, substitution, suppression and displacement applied in rewriting activities, from the revision of texts of the genre Tale of Mystery, by students of the 5th year of Elementary School, are addressed. To this end, we are based on the enunciative perspective of language (BAKHTIN, 2003; Bakhtin/volochínov, 2006); in the concept of writing as a work (FIAD; MAYRINK-SABINSON, 1991); in the studies on rewriting of texts, through the researches of Fabre (1986) and Menegassi (1998). The objective is to characterize these operations, discussing the stages of revision and rewriting (MENEGASSI, 2010) involved, to check how they manifest themselves in texts and how they lead the student to the development of their writing. The methodology comes from Applied Linguistics and is based on the examples extracted from Gasparotto’s research (2014). The results show that the linguistic-discursive operations favor the development of students' writing, especially using the relevance of the written comments of the proofreader teacher in the applicability of these discursive strategies.
