A negação no português falado em Vitória/ES

    A negação sentencial é um fenômeno linguístico comum a todas as línguas do mundo e cada uma delas apresenta estratégias próprias para sua realização. No português brasileiro (PB), há três estratégias de negação: 1) negação pré-verbal (Não+SV); 2) a dupla negação (Não+SV+Não) e 3) a negação pós-verbal (SV+Não). Com base num corpus composto por dezoito entrevistas extraídas da amostra PortVix (Português Falado na Cidade de Vitória), que tem por parâmetros sociais o gênero/sexo do falante, sua faixa etária e seu nível de escolaridade (YACOVENCO et al., 2012), na proposta de Schwenter (2005) sobre as restrições discursivo-pragmáticas da negação no PB e à luz da Sociolinguística Variacionista, analisamos a variação das três estruturas de negação com o intuito de entender quais fatores influenciam os usos das formas negativas e verificar os contextos dessa variação, visando ampliar a compreensão das restrições para a escolha das variantes e situar, a partir desse fenômeno, a variedade capixaba no cenário do PB.

    Negative sentence is a common linguistic phenomenon in all languages of the world and each language has its own strategies for itsexpression. In Brazilian Portuguese (BP), there are three strategies: 1) preverbal negative (Negative + SV); 2) double negative (Negative+ SV+Negative) and 3) postverbal negative (SV + Negative). We analyzed the variation between the three structures of negative in a corpus composed of eighteen interviews extracted from Portuguese Spoken in Vitória/ES (PortVix), a sample in which speakers are distributed ongender/sex, age and level of education (YACOVENCO et al., 2012).The analysis is basedon discursive-pragmatic constraints of negative sentence in BP proposed by Schwenter (2005) and on the Sociolinguistics Variationist Theory (LABOV, 2008 [1972]). We aim to understand the factors that influence the use of negative forms in Vitória and the restrictions of the use of each variant. We intend to put light on the variety spoken in Vitória, that is confronted with another varieties of BP.
