Creación y manejo del ORCID herramienta clave para visibilidad e impacto académico en investigaciones

    El curso Creación de códigos ORCID fue impartido a 126 estudiantes del Departamento de Ciencias de la Educación y Humanidades de la UNAN-Managua/CUR-Estelí, con el objetivo de analizar la implementación del ORCID en estudiantes de la UNAN-Managua/CUR-Estelí como herramienta clave para fortalecer su identidad digital y su impacto en la producción científica. Se evaluó la participación de los estudiantes y su percepción del curso a través de un cuestionario, evidenciando una recepción positiva, donde la mayoría calificó la experiencia como excelente o muy buena. Los participantes destacaron la utilidad del ORCID en la gestión de sus publicaciones y su vinculación con bases de datos científicas. Además, se observó una amplia representación de diferentes carreras, lo que refleja el interés multidisciplinario en la consolidación de perfiles académicos digitales. Los resultados obtenidos subrayan la necesidad de continuar con estas iniciativas formativas para fomentar la identidad digital de los investigadores en formación y fortalecer la cultura de publicación académica dentro de la universidad.

    The course Creation of ORCID codes was given to 126 students of the Department of Educational Sciences and Humanities of the UNAN-Managua/CUR-Estelí, with the objective of analyzing the implementation of ORCID in students of the UNAN-Managua/CUR-Estelí as a key tool to strengthen their digital identity and its impact on scientific production. The participation of students and their perception of the course was evaluated through a questionnaire, showing a positive reception, where the majority rated the experience as excellent or very good. The participants highlighted the usefulness of ORCID in the management of their publications and its linkage with scientific databases. In addition, there was a wide representation from different careers, which reflects the multidisciplinary interest in the consolidation of digital academic profiles. The results obtained underline the need to continue with these training initiatives to foster the digital identity of researchers in training and strengthen the culture of academic publication within the university.
