It also pinpoints the measurable facets of Northern Shanxi’s folk music that can be realistically utilized in education. This is in reference to the ways that the individual pieces are to be played, again the social backgrounds of the music to be used, and even the emotive qualities in the folk music styles. Regarding the curriculum organization, the study suggests the sequential model that combines the theoretical concepts and their application. They recommend making use of practical sections, the performance, and the project-oriented activities that allow integrating music with the additional disciplines such as history and cultural studies. The approaches used in the context of assessment are also discussed with focus to formative and summative methods which capture the students’ technical, imaginative as well as their cultural perspective. In aligning with the evidence-based assessment; the study that this paper proposes encourages the use of performance reviews, peer assessments and reflective journals so as to get a balanced view of the student ‘s overall progress. The effectiveness of the incorporation of Northern Shanxi folk music into the curriculum is made dependent with the students’ stats. The outcome shows that the pupils that have undergone this exquisite musical background possess improved musical drumming, refined cultural sensitivity, and developed creativity.
