  • Resumen
    • The study examines the relationship between corporate heritage and the engagement of internal stakeholders. By conducting an in-depth analysis of the long-lived Italian company Amarelli, we aim to under- stand how the company’s historical background influences the involve- ment and motivation of its employees and other internal stakeholders, thereby enhancing corporate identity and organizational culture. The findings show that corporate heritage contributes to increased internal stakeholder engagement, reflected in employees’ understanding, recognition, loyalty, work attitude, sense of pride, and identification with the company. Additionally, corporate heritage acts as a key driver that motivates internal stakeholders to take action on behalf of the com- pany. It fosters a sense of ownership and responsibility for preserving and transmitting this heritage, while also inspiring a willingness to learn about the company and its history actively. This learning helps em- ployees find a sense of direction in their daily activities.
