The chapter focuses on the role of a local railway corporate museum, the Ferrovia-Museo della Stazione di Colonna, what strategies it im- plements to engage the community and promote cultural heritage, and the impact this has on the territory. Railway museums serve as an ideal platform for examining the intersection of industrial heritage, corporate identity, and public engagement. This case study offers a unique per- spective on how companies in the transportation sector communicate their legacy and technological advancements. Through exhibits that showcase historic trains, documents and artifacts, the museum high- lights the evolution of rail transportation and its socioeconomic impact, as well as being an effective means of educating the public about tech- nological innovations. The museum also goes beyond the display of products, acting as a strategic communication tool between the territo- ry, stakeholders and the local community, fostering emotional connec- tions and promoting a positive image aligned with the values of pro- gress and sustainability. This research contributes to the growing field of corporate museums by underscoring their significance in bridging the gap between business objectives and cultural heritage preservation.
