  • Resumen
    • Here we describe an experiment intended to be implemented in an introductory physics laboratory course. The activity involves comparing the motion of a block sliding with kinetic friction and a cylindrical puck rolling without slipping. By experimentally determining the angle at which these objects tie when raced down an incline, information can be determined about the rolling puck’s moment of inertia. The pucks were 3D printed to obtain similar outward appearance, size, and mass but with varying interior mass distributions.
