    Introducción: La rehabilitación vestibular es un tratamiento eficaz en las alteraciones del sistema vestibular. A diferencia de los adultos, hay pocos estudios en la infancia en relación con este tratamiento. Objetivo: Presentar una actualización de la literatura médica más destacada en relación con la rehabilitación vestibular en el niño. Material y método: Revisión bibliográfica a través de los principales motores de búsqueda (OVID, EBSCO, JBI y PubMed). Resultados: Basándonos principalmente en los trabajos de Rose Marie Rine, una de las fisioterapeutas que más ha investigado en esta materia, así como de otros autores, se describen los resultados más destacados y sus implicaciones prácticas. Discusión: Se describen los aspectos distintivos de la RV en los niños en relación con los adultos y las herramientas diagnósticas disponibles para su valoración. Conclusión: La rehabilitación vestibular en niños, al igual que en adultos, favorece una mayor y más rápida recuperación motora y del equilibrio frente a la abstención terapéutica.

    Introduction: Vestibular rehabilitation has proven to be an effective therapeutic approach for addressing vestibular system disorders in adults. However, concerning pediatric cases there is little research compared to the extensive studies conducted with adults. Objective: To update the most relevant medical literature in relation to vestibular rehabilitation in children. Material and method: We have conducted a narrative revision of the most recent and relevant bibliography regarding this topic through the main search engines (OVID, EBSCO, JBI and PubMed). Results: Based mainly on the work of Rose Marie Rine, one of the physiotherapists who has done more research in this area, as well as other authors, the most significant results and their practical implications are described. Discussion: The distinctive aspects of VR in children in relation to adults and the diagnostic tools available for its assessment are described. Conclusion: Vesti-bular rehabilitation in children, as in adults, facilitates a greater and faster motor and balance recovery as opposed to therapeutic abstention.
