Entre espelhos, paralaxes e afinidades inesperadas: (re)visitando a tradução das poesias chinesa e brasileira

    Neste artigo, examinamos teorias e teóricos, traduções e tradutores da poesia chinesa à língua portuguesa que, ao longo de relações e contatos entre a China e as culturas em língua portuguesa, têm forjado uma poética do traduzir alternativa às teorias ocidentais e ocidentalizantes que, atualmente, sustenta o discurso que advoga a necessidade de novos espaços – acadêmicos e não acadêmicos – para discutir, propor e teorizar poiéticas não europeias em tradução e poéticas de traduzir a, na e para a China. Para isso, faremos revisão de teorias e teóricos da tradução literária tanto da China como do Brasil por meio da tradução e de uma discussão sobre a expansão do cânone literário mundial. Essa revisão será o fio condutor que nos dará o enquadramento para refletir de que modo esses tão variados espaços geográficos, temporais e culturalmente localizados contribuem para engendrar pensares alternativos à e para a literatura-mundo. Revisitaremos teorias, poetas, traduções e tradutores da poesia chinesa e da brasileira a fim de sustentarmos e defendermos a proposição da inserção das teorias e das práticas para a tradução poética sob a óptica das trocas de dois mundos linguística e culturalmente distantes, diferentes, mas que se complementam numa espécie de paralaxe.

    In this article, we will examine theories and theorists, translations and translators of Chinese poetry into Portuguese who, throughout the relations and contacts between China and Portuguese-speaking cultures, have forged a poetics of translation that is an alternative to Western and Westernizing theories that currently support the discourse that advocates the need for new spaces—academic and non-academic—to discuss, propose and theorize non-European poetics in translation and poetics of translating to, in and for China. To this end, we will review theories and theorists of literary translation from both China and Brazil through translation and a discussion about the expansion of the world literary canon. This review will be the guiding thread that will provide us with the framework to reflect on how these highly varied geographical, temporal, and culturally located spaces contribute to engendering alternative ways of thinking world literature. To support our proposition, we will revisit theories, poets, translations and translators of Chinese and Brazilian poetry in order to defend our proposition of inserting theories and practices for poetic translation from the perspective of exchanges between two linguistically and culturally distant, different worlds, but which complement each other in a kind of parallax.
