    RESUMEN El objetivo del artículo es identificar la precariedad, los riesgos, las enfermedades y las construcciones subjetivas de los sujetos en los talleres talaveranos. La metodología fue cualitativa, mediante entrevistas a artesanas y artesanos, de 2022 a 2023. Los principales resultados muestran dicotomías entre las necesidades de reproducción social con las afectaciones al nivel general de salud en un ambiente precario. La construcción de subjetividad es influenciada por la precarización del trabajo artesanal y su configuración social del oficio talaverano. A pesar de que los sujetos conocen los riesgos y consecuencias en la salud, los normalizan y aceptan para continuar con la herencia del saber y hacer artesanal. La relación entre precariedad y subjetividad se profundiza y da cuenta de la significación cultural de los riesgos en la labor, situación que complica los problemas sociales y de salud provocados por la exposición de plomo, como las enfermedades, insuficiencia renal crónica y saturnismo.

    ABSTRACT The objective of this article is identify the precariousness, risks, diseases and subjective constructions of the artisans in the talavera workshop. The methodology was qualitative, through interviews to artisan, from 2022 to 2023. The main results show dichotomies between the needs of social reproduction with the effects to the general level of health in a precarious environment. The construction of subjectivity is influenced by the precariousness of artisan work, by the social configuration of the talavera craft, despite that artisans know the risks and consequences on their own health, they normalize and accept them to continue with the inheritance on know and do of the craft work. The relationship between precariousness and subjectivity gets deepen and realized about the cultural meaning of the risks on the work, this situation complicates the social and health problems caused by lead exposure, such as diseases, chronic kidney failure and lead poisoning.
